FAQ
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. On a 12-month term there's no setup fee. Otherwise the website plan is rolling monthly with a £149 setup and 30 days' notice, and bolt-ons with a setup fee have a 3-month minimum, then roll monthly.
How does the free trial work?
You can try the AI receptionist free for 14 days with no card needed. If it's not for you, it simply stops.
Will callers know they're talking to AI?
Yes. The receptionist tells callers it's an automated assistant, and tells them if the call is recorded. It takes the details and passes them to you; you still do the quoting and the work.
What happens if I go over 150 receptionist minutes?
Extra minutes are 25p each. 150 minutes is roughly 60 calls a month.
Do I keep my domain if I leave?
Yes, your domain stays yours, and you can buy the site files if you want to take the website elsewhere.
Is VAT added?
No. Samelo AI is not VAT registered, so the prices shown are what you pay.
Will the review requests only go to happy customers?
No. Google's rules say you should ask every customer and not offer rewards, so that's how we set it up.
